The Bucksport man wanted for robbing the local Rite Aid pharmacy on Sunday has been arrested. 

Phillip Russell, 44, was taken into custody Monday afternoon in Orland thanks to the efforts of deputies from the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, Maine State Police, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, the Bucksport Police Department, and US Fish and Wildlife Agency Police.

Authorities were called to the Rite Aid on Route 1 Sunday afternoon and told a man came in demanding prescription drugs. No weapon was displayed during the robbery. Witnesses were able to describe the getaway truck and give police the license plate number. Russell is being held at the Hancock County jail.
