Next week is school vacation week, and rather than having the kids glued to some sort of video screen, take them to Bucksport for Frost Fest!

On Wednesday there's a couple of big and fun events beginning with The Ice Skating Party will happen at the rink on Miles Lane.  The skating is free and party music will be played by DJ Ray Grindle!  Refreshments will be available for sale.

During the Frost Fest Snow Sculpture Contest, contestants will have one hour to compete!  The Contest will be held right beside the ice skating rink in the parking lot.  The entry fee is $3 per person or $5 for a team of four.  Each winning person will receive a one hour riding lesson from CBC Horse Stables!

On Thursday the 19th in the Jewett School Gym, everyone can enjoy a performance of "The Princess and The White Bear King" put on by Dawnella Sutton of Storyteller Moon.  A workshop will follow the performance where kids can create their own puppets and perform the story!    Cost is $3 for the show/$3 for the workshop/$5 for both.

Frost Fest will wind down on Friday with a Winter Miniature Golf Course!  It's a 9 hole handmade putt-putt course made of snow!  Cost is $ for children and $3 for kids under six.
