The Canadian Lynx population in Maine is really taking off.  Apparently there's not enough real estate to go around according to these two.

Check out this recent video taken in the area of Second Roach Pond in Northern Piscataquis County, the footage was taken by Sarah Verney and posted to Facebook over this past weekend.

Just like a couple of house cats starring each other down on the neighbor's front lawn, these two Lynx have just about had enough of each other.  Listen as one screeches at the other, until one of the two has finally had enough and sulks away.  What a sound!

According to the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, a full-grown Canadian Lynx can weigh anywhere from 26 and 30 pounds and grow up to 33 and a half inches long.  Lynx are most commonly found in Aroostook and Piscataquis counties, but are slowing growing and moving across all of Maine where they can be seen during both the day and the night.  There could be upwards of 1000 Lynx living in Maine.
