Can’t Help Text Walking? New App Makes For A Safer Plan B

If you’ve ever tried to text and walk at the same time, you know how dangerous it could be. When you bury your face in your phone, you might run into someone or something!

A new app could solve this problem because it allows you to see the street in front of you while you are typing. It’s called “Type n Walk” and makes use of your phone camera and shows you the road ahead as your screen's background.

Make note it does not check for on coming traffic when you are crossing the street so you will need to still pay attention. Studies show texting while walking accounts for more injuries per mile than distracted driving.
