Needless to say Maine has one of the toughest drunk driving laws in the country and yet repeat offenders are on the roads killing people every year. So if fines and jail time won't stop them, can technology? Some of our politicians think so.
When I had company up recently from Massachusetts I took them through the Bangor City Forest. They marveled at how well cared for and well marked it was. They also wished thay had something as close by in Mass to enjoy. So let's not take for granted how lucky we are to have this little treasure and pitch in.
May is national barbecue month. Seems like just about everyone loves good barbecue. Now of course in Bangor we are lucky enough to have Moe's BBQ over on Broadway but what is we're up for something new to celebrate?
