In 2013 Kansas will be chalking up a major milestone when they celebrate four decades as a band. In honor of the special event, the band has unveiled their 40th Anniversary Celebration and Fan Appreciation Concert scheduled for Aug. 17 at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts in Pittsburgh, Pa.
There's just 25 months left to see Eric Clapton on tour. The legendary guitarist says that he's going to quit the road life when he turns 70 years old because getting from show to show is too much of a pain. "The bit on stage, that's easy," he says before insisting he'll stay active playing around his hometown.
There he is, on the road again. Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band are off and running on their 2013 US tour. The tour got off to a good start last night (Feb. 27) in Toledo, Ohio. Seger and band pulled out hit after hit, with the usual suspects like 'Night Moves' and 'Turn The Page' as well as deeper catalog numbers like 'Beautiful Loser' and 'Ramblin' Gamblin' Man' gracing the two-hour show.

After finishing up their 2013 Australian tour, Motley Crue will take a short break and head north to Canada for the band's most extensive tour of the country ever. Vince Neil, Mick Mars, Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee announced 18 dates in six provinces on Monday.
Metallica has announced the lineup for the second annual Orion Music + More Festival, which will take place June 8-9 at Belle Isle in Detroit. The metal legends, in addition to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rise Against, the Deftones and Bassnectar will headline the event.
