New research shows moderate drinkers have lower mortality rates than tea totalers.
The study conducted by psychologist Charles Holahan of the University of Texas at Austin had 1,824 participants between ages 55 and 65 who were looked at over a 20-year time frame and took into account a wide number of variables, including socioeconomic status and level of physical activity.
