Cattle Dog Izzy Is 50 Pounds Of Snuggles
Izzy currently resides at the SPCA of Hancock County and would love a new forever home!
What is grey and black, has a long pointy nose, and love love loves her squeaky toy? Izzy does! Izzy is a 6 year old cattledog, and she is looking for someone gentle and patient to offer her a space in their heart and home.
You see, Izzy is terrified of new people. When you first meet her, Izzy barks to see if that will scare you off. Luckily, all it takes are a few good-smelling treats and a little patience for her to realize that you’re not scary at all! Before you know it, you’ll have 50 pounds of snuggles right in your lap. Once you’re on her “nice” list, Izzy shows her true colors as a sensitive and loving dog.
In addition to squeaky toys and snuggles with her favorite people, Izzy loves going for walks. She would likely prefer to be an only pet, and is looking for a home where everyone is 15+.

The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption. It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton. It’s open , Thursdays through Sundays between 11 AM – 5 PM.
