CBS To Produce New Sitcom Called ‘Welcome To Maine’

With immigration being such a hot topic lately, leave it to television to pair it up with Maine.

CBS TV will produce the comedy sitcom which at the moment will be called "Welcome To Maine."  The show will center on a Syrian refugee and his daughter who move in with a ninth-generation family in a rural Maine town, according to Variety.

No word yet on when it will air or who will be starring in it.

One has to wonder if they'll use the name of a real Maine town, one like Derry.
