Louisiana Sheriffs Deputy Excels In Crimestopper Videos

"Congratulations son, I'm about to make you famous."

Check out this Crimestoppers video featuring Lt. Clay Higgins of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Department in Louisiana. We LOVE his dry, straightforward and sometimes humorous Southern presentation!

While looking straight into the camera and addressing the crook that broke into Stelly's Supermarket and Diner, Higgins had this to say, "We're going to identify you, arrest you, and put you in a small cell.  After that, I'm going to have a cheeseburger here, with fries and a coke, and leave a nice tip for the waitress. Meanwhile, your next meal will be served through a small hole in a cell door."

Lt. Higgins has recorded a few of these videos, and we can see why, he certainly has a talent for it.  We love the part of the video where he brings up the reward money while addressing the crook: "And the people that know you don't really like you anyway, so when it comes down to a choice, between you and $1000, they'll take the cash."
