Christmas Tree Growers Expect Good Season [POLL]

The smell of Christmas tree is in the air!

Maine Christmas tree growers are expecting a good season after a busy start over the weekend. Most growers said their farms saw more people picking up trees than this time last year. Because the state does not regulate tree farms, there's no exact numbers to go on.

Growers will take the great jump on the season though! Christmas tree sales have been on the decline since 1970 when artificial trees were introduced. Tree prices (roughly) range from $25 to $35.
