One of the most impressive classic car collections in the country is right here in Maine, and you can check it out this Saturday, July 18th!

The 37th Annual Founders' Day Celebration, to benefit the Hamlin Memorial Library & Museum, will take place this Saturday at 16 Hannibal Hamlin Drive in Paris Hill, Maine.

The collection of over 60 vehicles features Packards, Duesenbergs, Stutz Bearcats, a Tucker, Thomas Flyer, vintage race cars and others!  The very impressive collection is owned by Robert and Sandra Bahre, former owners of Oxford Plains Speedway, New Hampshire Speedway at Loudon, and Oxford Casino.

There will be live music throughout the day, along with many craft and food vendors set up on the grounds of this beautiful property!  It's well worth the trip from Bangor.

The hours of the show are 9AM until 5PM. The cost of admission is $10 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. All proceeds benefit the Hamlin Memorial Library & Museum.

Hannibal Hamlin was the 15th Vice President of the United States, serving under President Abraham Lincoln during the American Civil War.  He lived in Paris, Maine.  He died while playing cards in Downtown Bangor and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery.
