The Clean Water Clean Shores Project, which is a volunteer effort to clean debris from various parts of Maine's coastline and islands will be participating in a effort to clean the shore at Petit Manan Point, part of the National Wildlife Refuge on the coast of Stueben.

The event sponsored by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will happen on Saturday, May 17th, between 9am and 1pm.  Volunteers are asked to meet at the Birch Point Trail Parking Lot, there will be a barbeque immediately following the clean up. MARK YOUR CALENDAR and then bring your gloves, you may get dirty!
