An estimated 60,000 people will attend the 25th Annual Common Ground Country Fair put on by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the fairgrounds in Unity!

Find out how people live off the land, what to grow, what to eat, and what new technology is available that can enhance your lifestyle!

I try to attend this every year and my favorite event is the sheep dog demonstration!

You'll find some great locally grown food for sale and to eat, how to care for your farm animals, what type of seed to plant, how to stay warm this winter, and some of the most amazing and unique products made by man's hand!  And yes, there's plenty of animals there for the kids to pet!

The Common Ground Country Fair is all about celebrating Maine's traditions!

Members of MOFGA get in free of charge, it's $10 per day for just about everyone else. Buy your tickets in advance and go to the front of the line!  There's always plenty of free parking, you can even get a tractor cart ride to the front gate!

Gates open at 9am each day.
