Our SPCA of Hancock County Pet Of The Week is a looker!

At the SPCA, there is a fluffy white and grey cat with a little pink nose. She’s a beautiful little thing, with her fluffy fur and long tail. Her name is Rosemary.

She started out very afraid of the shelter staff, but recognizes everyone now and knows when they're are bringing treats or lunch. Rosemary still doesn't like the camera. They try to sneak up on her to get photos, but what they can't seem to catch on camera is when, at quiet times, they pet her softly on the top of her head and she very, very quietly starts to purr.

Rosemary is much friendlier than she appears, but she finds it so hard to show her true colors here at the shelter. Will you give her a chance to come home with you and settle in? If she learns that she is safe, Rosemary will likely become your little fuzzy shadow. Rosemary is 2 years old.

For more information about Rosemary, please give the shelter a call at 667-8088!
