Country Artists Performing Rock Songs [VIDEOS]
Have you noticed how many country artists are performing classic rock songs?
Yesterday we reported that a bunch of country artists will be recording Motley Crue songs as a tribute to one of America's favorite 80s hair bands!
It's pretty cool that country music of today is influenced so heavily by classic rock songs. Last year at the Waterfront we saw Kix Brooks perform "American Girl" by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and we saw Miranda Lambert perform "Rock And Roll Hoochie Koo" the song made famous by Rick Derringer.
So today I thought that I'd go in search of today's country icons performing rock songs of yesterday! It's good to get a different take on the songs that we love so much! This is just a small sampling, can you think of any others?
