The surviving members of The Grateful Dead and John Mayer are hitting the road this summer!

Bob Weir can't seem to stay off the road. Dead and Company will be 'Truckin' across the country this summer. The band lineup includes drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, guitarist John Mayer, former Allman Brothers Band bassist Oteil Burbridge, and keyboard player Jeff Chimenti.

Burbridge and Chimenti also played with Weir in RatDog.

Bassist Phil Lesh once again will not join the lineup. Lately he's been playing scattered gigs as Lesh & Friends.

Lesh passed on playing with Dead and Company after the Fare Thee Well tour dates because of a diagnosis of non-aggressive bladder cancer. He has since made a full recovery after treatment at the Mayo Clinic.

The tour will last five weeks and feature two shows, June 17 and 18, at Fenway Park in Boston. Tickets go on-sale Friday.

Each show features two sets from the band.

Dead and Company sold-out Fenway Park last summer.
