Our SPCA of Hancock County Pet of the Week knows what he wants for the New Year!

Denny the kitten has a delicate pink nose, a white triangle on his face, and short orange fur with dark stripes all over his body. He has yellow-orange eyes and white whiskers. What else does Denny have? A New Year’s Resolution!

His goal for 2019 is to find a home. You see, in his five months of life so far, Denny hasn’t had a home of his own. He keeps hearing about this wonderful thing called “home,” where he’ll have his very own toys, his very own family, and his very own windowsill to watch the birds from. Denny has never experienced that. Here at the shelter, he sits on the highest perch and watches all the people go by. He finds it a little too scary to come down and say hello most of the time.

At quiet times, though, Denny comes out to play with the other cats. He creeps up to his favorite staff and volunteers to shyly ask for a pat or two on his soft little head. Denny is still just a baby, and wants nothing more than a safe place and someone to love him. Could that person be you?

For more information about Denny, please give the shelter a call at 667-8088!
