Suddenly there were Blue Meanies everywhere, and the music loving folks of Pepperland were in a pile of trouble!  Thank goodness a seaworthy vessel was dispatched to bring back our musical saviors!

This date in 1968 saw the release of Yellow Submarine, the Beatles animated movie.   When John, Paul, George and Ringo showed up in Pepperland to sing a few songs all became normal again, and the fabulous colors returned!

On this date in 1983, Guns 'N Rose played a big show in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in front of a crowd of more than 80,000.  It was the final show of their Use Your Illusion Tour. We have Guns N' Roses as the I-95 Artist Of The Day today!

Born on this date in 1941, Spencer Davis, a guitarist that gave us "Gimme Some Lovin", one of the biggest PARTY songs of all time, "  If you were at a drunken frat party in the sixties or seventies, chances are that you danced to the song around the dorm room to that song.  Steve Winwood, a member of the Spencer Davis Group, sang the song, and was only 17 years old when it was recorded.  Jake and Elwood Blues performed it pretty darn good too!

Geezer Butler, the bass player for Black Sabbath was born on this date in 1949.  Earlier this year Geezer got into a fist fight at a saloon in Death Valley, California.  Yup, Geezer's still living a life of rock and roll!
