Today is the day back in 1988 that the New Jersey album by Bon Jovi hit #1 on the album chart where it would stay for 4 weeks!  It was the fourth studio album by Bon Jovi and was recorded shortly after the Slippery When Wet tour.  The album contained four charted songs, Lay Your Hands On Me, Bad Medicine, Born To Be My Baby and the #1 song, I'll Be There For You.

I especially like the following video because comedian Sam Kinison starts it off.  Kinison died in a car accident in 1992.

Actress Tanya Roberts was born on this day, she's now 58 years old. Tanya starred in Charlie's Angels, The Beastmaster, A View To Kill and That 70s Show!
