It was July 15th, 1978, that the Rolling Stones scored their seventh #1 album in the U.S. It was Some Girls. The album cover featured images of Marilyn Monroe, Liza Minnelli, Farah Fawcett and others. It eventually had to be released again with a new cover after lawyers representing the families of the celebrities filled suit. Some Girls produced the hit "Miss You", which fans of the Stones thought was a sell-out disco song.

In 1985, nude photos of Madonna appeared in both Playboy and Penthouse magazines.  In 1977 Madonna had posed nude for photographer Herman Kulkens and was paid $10 an hour for the sessions.  Kulkens eventually sold the photos to the girlies magazines and Madonna didn't seem all that upset about it. Meanwhile after viewing the photos, fans were not all that surprised that the rug didn't match the drapes.
