So there they were, three budding rock stars who had to relieve themselves.  They had stopped at a service station for gas, and the attendant didn't like the looks of these long-haired freaks and said no when they asked to use the facilities.  Wonder what happened next?

Yes, Mick Jagger, Brian Jones and Keith Richards whipped them out and went winky-tink on the station's wall.  It was on this date in 1965 that a judge in London found them guilty of "insulting behavior."  Guess he didn't know that insulting behavior fuels rock and roll.

Meanwhile on this date in 1969, Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul, threw a fit for some reason unknown in a Detroit area parking lot and was arrested.  After posting $50 bail at the police station, she put the pedal to the metal and ran down a street sign.  All in the name of rock and roll!

It was on this date in 2005 that a major car insurance company released a report that said listening to "the wrong sort of music" could lead to "aggression and distraction."  Dr Nicola Dibben, a music psychologist said  that ‘singing while driving stimulates the mind’, and gave a listing of songs to avoid.  Songs that we've never heard of.  So, keep on jammin' to Foghat while driving the Corolla.

Born on this date in 1947 was Eagles drummer Don Henley.  Don sings a lot of the Eagles' major hits, stuff like Hotel California, Witchy Woman and Best Of My Love!  Don just released his latest album called Cass County!  If you love Eagles songs like Peaceful Easy Feeling, then you'll like his new album.

By the way, The Eagles are the I-95 Artist Of The Day!
