Feels only right after making you watch my garden bloom out of the snow too take you to the next level SPRING!!

Last Sunday I put pedal to the metal and shovel to the ground.  I turned the soil and fertilized.  I moved a few or the perennials that had re-seeded in a bad spot and yarded out some insisted morning glories from ...well, everywhere.

My beloved friend also got me a new bird bath from Greenscapes and surprised me by buying my annuals from Hutchinson's Greenhouse a few weeks ago. I planted all those and some rose bush sprigs that the box assured me wanted to be more than a couple of sticks.

Desperate for some color I had jumped ahead and planted some pansies a few weeks ago. I moved Bella's carrots to the sides this year and vine cukes, romaine, parsley and basil for edibles.

So far my Phlox has bloomed and the Irises my friends Nelson and Shirley gave me are up and blooming.  My tulips have come and gone and the Violas are blooming. My Dianthus is up but not quite flowering yet. I also reintroduces some Begonia's I wintered indoors back into the garden. Stone bunnies in place, Bring on Summer!
