Double Amputee Amy Purdy Lit Up DWTS Stage

I have always liked Dancing With The Stars.  I am a fan of Tom Bergeron and the gang.  However this year the most amazing thing on the floor has got to be Amy Purdy When she was 19 she lost both legs below the knees and said last night in the packet that they had only given her a 2% chance of surviving the Meningitis that took her limbs.

I don’t exactly know what I had expected but what I got was a shock that gave me awe inspiring appreciation of the human spirit.  Amy Purdy’s athleticism couples with Derek Hough’s choreographing abilities produce an amazing performance. Many of the other dancers were very good to but it is for Amy that I’ll be watching to see how much more amazing she can be.
