Drive Thru Flu Shots Available On MDI

Pretty easy gig.  Drive up. Get your shot.  Don't infect Grammy.

Mount Desert Island Hospital will be hosting a Drive Thru Flu Vaccine Clinic on Thursday, October 20th, between 9 and 11AM.  The event will be held in the Community Health Center's parking lot, 16 Community Lane in Southwest Harbor.

The main goal of the event is to provide flu shots to people with mobility issues, so they don't have to get out of their vehicle, but anyone over 19 can receive one.

Mainecare or Medicare will cover the cost, if you're on one of them.  If not, the cost is $40, cash or check, and MDI Hospital will give you a receipt to submit to your insurance company.
