Drug Take-Back And Document Shredding Event Planned For Bangor

Get those old/unused prescription drugs out of the house and protect yourself from identity theft, both at the same time!

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Department along with the Bangor Police Department will  host a "Drug Take-Back and Shredding Event" on Friday, October 21st.

Both law enforcement agencies will be set up in the Airport Mall parking lot in Bangor, on the Union Street side.  Drop off your old and unused prescription drugs between 7AM and 6PM.  Document shredding will take place between 8AM and 12PM.

If you are unable to attend Friday's event, National Drug Take-Back Day is Saturday, October 22nd.  The Penobscot County Sheriff's Department will be set up at Cascade Park in Bangor between 10Am and 2PM.
