Ellsworth will be a lot of fun this week as the city celebrates three days of fall with Autumn Gold Days! There will be Gold flags waving everywhere throughout the city as many businesses hold big sales and organizations host fun events that everyone can enjoy!

This Saturday morning, belly up to the Autumn Gold Blueberry Pancake breakfast put on by the Ellsworth Rotary Club at the Middle School off Forest Ave/Shore Road.  It runs between 7 and 10AM!

Do a little shopping, or check out a movie at The Grand, then head over to the Home Depot parking lot for the 33rd Annual Autumn Gold Car Show!  The show runs from 8 until 1 and admission is free! Professional driver Andy Santerre will be there, along with the Shriners NASCAR unit and many classic cars and trucks.  Enter your ride at the admission's table, or just enjoy the food and check out the vehicles!

Then it's down to Waterfront Park beginning at 11:30 for the 20th Annual Chowderfest, where local chefs compete for the tastiest in the land!  For $5 you can taste what's offered and vote for your favorite!  Plenty of other food and music to enjoy there too!

Waterfront Park is also the place for something new this year, the first Autumn Gold Beer and Wine Tasting event!  It happens between 1 and 4PM, and for $10 you can enjoy the some of the best brews and vintages that the area has to offer!  Of course you must be 21 or over.

There's free Boat Rides on the Union River, although donations are accepted, departing from Waterfront Park.  The the Annual Rubber Ducky Race put on by the Noontime Rotary of Ellsworth happens at 2 right there at the Park also.

The weather looks great for this Saturday!  At this moment, the National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 63!
