Ellsworth Chamber Announces 2015 Business Award Nominees

The nominees for the 2015 Business Awards have been announced by the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce, and you get to vote!

“We started this new tradition with last year’s event” said Susan Farley Chamber Executive Director.  “The fun part is the community gets to take part in the voting and no one knows the outcome until that evening”. “It really connects these business awards to the community they serve!”

The Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Awards night will happen on May 21st at Big Cat's Catering, and awards will be presented in three different categories:  New Chamber Business, Revitalization Award and Customer Service.

Earlier this year, ballots were given to Chamber of Commerce members, and four nominees were selected for each category.  Beginning in late April you can go to the Chamber's website and vote!

Here are the nominees:

Revitalization Award:  Cross Fit Acadia, Mainly Meat on Main, The Moore Community Center and Seaport Village Health Care.

New Chamber Business of the Year:  Big Cat’s Catering and Events Center, The Cellar, Coastal K9 and Smile Design.

Customer Service Award:  Finn’s Irish Pub, Morton’s Moo, Pat’s Pizza and the Sew & Save Shop.  

“With over 600 members in the Ellsworth Chamber, to even be nominated in one of these categories is an honor” said Director Susan Farley, “we hope everyone in the community takes the time to vote on line to select the winners!”
