Ellsworth’s Autumn Gold Days is this Weekend!

Ellsworth's Autumn Gold Days is officially under way with the bulk of activities going on this Saturday!

Fire up the ride and check out the 29th Annual Autumn Gold Car Show beginning at 8AM in the Home Depot parking lot.  During the show the Ellsworth Fire Department will host the "Touch A Truck" event for the kids.  The show runs until 1 and ends with the Classic Car City Cruise through town.

From 8 unitl 10Am take a hot air  balloon ride!  Yup, departing from behind the Mill Mall.  The Mill Mall has all sorts of stuff going on too.  Maine Coast Memorial Hospital will be holding their first annual Health and Wellness Fair featuring health screenings, the Anah Shrine Clowns with free teddy bears to the first 100 kids.

Free Boat Rides on the Union River once again this year at Waterfront Park beginning at 11 and make sure that you check out the 15th Annual Chowderfest which is still only five bucks a person.  The Noontime Rotary's Rubber Ducky Race starts at 2PM.

I'll be up at RH Foster on Rte. 3 for their Energy Open House, stop by and have some food from Freshies and find out how you can save money this winter with propane.
