Emera Maine Reports 3500 Without Power On MDI – More In Blue Hill And Brooklin

High winds today have brought down trees and limbs on Mount Desert Island, resulting in over 3500 home without power.

Emera Maine crews have been deployed and will remain in the field making repairs until all customers are safely restored.  Emera hopes to have most customers back online by 1:30, although the winds may extend the times of certain restorations.

As of 1:15PM, significant outages were still listed on the Emera Maine website, including customers not on MDI, in Blue Hill and Brooklin.
