Kind of an interesting story really.  When Aerosmith was getting ready to record 'Back In The Saddle Again' they thought how cool would it be to crack a whip for the recording.  Sounds so benign when you say it. Now for the reality check, or crack in this case, cracking a whip is not that easy to do and after wounding themselves repeatedly they gave up and tried created  the crack by whirling a 30-foot cord from the studio, then by firing a cap gun to give the desired snap.

Now when the song was released in 1976 Adam wasn't even born yet so he couldn't have helped them out anyway.  Inspired by Indiana Jones (and who wasn't) he took up not only whip making but also holds 16 Guinness Book World Records. He can crack two at once, he cracks them lit on fire and in this video he cuts a soda can clean in half leaving the bottom half still and full. Yep, mans got skills. He also has a degree in engineering so if this phases out, well you know.
