In this day and age with an ever growing population our farmers should be our first priority.  Feeding the world is a big responsibility and to be truthful it can be a hard life without much fanfare.  Many years ago our own John Mellencamp , Neil Young and Willie Nelson started Farm-aid to draw attention to the farmers good work and need for support. My best friend has been to many Farm Aid concerts and brands them amazing bar none. She keeps hoping that John will bring it to Bangor one day, our fingers are crossed.

Still it is very exciting to announce this year's Farm Aid concert will be in Bristow, Virginia, on September 17. This years Farm Aid 2016 to be held at Jiffy Lube Live will shine a spotlight on the family farmers whose hard work and ingenuity are essential for all of us.

Farm Aid 2016 will feature Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Alabama Shakes, Sturgill Simpson and many more artists. Get the full lineup here Farm Aid 2016 will be a full day of incredible music, HOMEGROWN Concessions® featuring family farm food, hands-on activities in Farm Aid's HOMEGROWN Village and, of course, family farmers. We hope you'll join us in Virginia!
