Father Finds Needle in Halloween Candy Bar

An Auburn dad is filing a police report after a sewing needle was found in one of his children's Halloween candy.

Jason Levesque told the Sun Journal an 'expertly' inserted needle was found down the center of a Snickers bar. The oldest of his three children discovered the needle, thus prompting the disposal of all of their Halloween haul.

Levesque said his kids had been trick-or-treating on Fairview Avenue and Amberly Way in Auburn.

Auburn PD told the Sun Journal they hadn’t had any reports of tampered candy.
