Looks like we’re going to get wet.
After experiencing a drought statewide for the past month or so, this Wednesday’s forecast is welcome news.
The National Weather Service says that rain will begin moving into the area this Tuesday night and then continue throughout Wednesday and into the day on Thursday. Some areas of the state could receive 3 to 4 inches of rain.
According to Drought.Gov, the majority of the coastal areas of the state are experiencing a “moderate drought”, while western and northern areas are “abnormally dry.”
