A historic Blue Hill farmhouse was destroyed by fire early this morning, along with a nearby shed.

WABI-TV reports that the fire at the Ken-Rose Farm was called in just before 5 a.m. Thursday. Crews from several towns responded to the fire on Route 15 and were able to save the barn, although the house and shed are a complete loss.

Investigators from the State Fire Marshal's office will be on the scene today to try and determine what sparked the blaze.
