Five people face charges in connection with the sale of methamphetamine in Hancock County.

Police made the arrests early Wednesday morning after investigating a mobile home in Hancock Heights Mobile Home Park in Hancock.

Dominique Torrey, 22, and Matthew Peasley, 28, both of Otis; and Jennifer Thurston, 24, Shannon Nicholson, 45, and Loren Wayne Spurling, 25, all of Tremont, each face one count of felony unlawful operation of a methamphetamine lab. Torrey faces an additional charge of trafficking in methamphetamine.

All were transported to the Hancock County Jail in Ellsworth. It is anticipated they will make an initial appearance in Hancock County Unified Court later today.

Once a search warrant is signed, MDEA’s meth lab team will process the contents of the mobile home, according to police.
