Flick Chick here once again in the pursuit of truth, justice and keeping you from spending your hard earned money on movies that don’t make the grade! Last night I grabbed my bow and arrows and headed into the Bangor Mall Cinemas to see ‘Hunger Games Mockingjay – Part 2’

This is an adventure, sci-fi film that runs 2 1/4 hours. As all of these movies it carried a PG-13 rating for intense sequences of violence and action, and for some thematic material and stared Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks.

Summary:

In this final installment of the Hunger Games series the war is on and Panem is the target for the rebels. However, for Katness it is more personal as they attempt to deprogram Peeta making her one and only goal to kill President Snow.

Review:

I have seen all the Hunger Games movies and if you are the same you have to see this movie to complete the story as I did. What I saw was not quite what I expected, having never read the books…on purpose. Unlike the predecessors this film doesn’t have nearly the amount of action. In fact some of it seems kind of thrown in to keep you interested. My other feeling was that it seemed to end and then keep going 5 times making it drag out a little. That said by the end they do try to wrap up all the loose ends in a tidy package however burnt around the edges it might be before sending to on your way. So on a scale of 1-10 I am giving ‘Hunger Games Mockingjay- Part 2’ a 7
