Review:

Well I don't need to tell you that the cast is amazing.  I can tell you that their chemistry is good and the story intriguing.  In fact, I was drawn in and engaged and ready to laugh when it started. However, once the story was established although there were some clever lines and concepts the cold gratuitous violence and general unhappiness of the main characters was off putting for me.  A few steps too far and not enough humor to balance the film, I was left pretty nonplussed

On a scale of 1 - 10 I give' The Family' a 5
