April 2015 looks to be a funny month for movies in that, some weeks are dry of anything that looks interesting while others have too many good looking prospects.

    Fast and Furious 7

Hard to believe but these movies have actually come into their own.  They have great special effects and if you’ve seen a few of them the characters have developed despite themselves. Sad and poignant twist since Paul Walkers death that his scenes were finished by a combination of CGI and his real life brothers playing body doubles.  I’m in.

    Unfriended

This is a thriller I hope makes teenagers stop and think before posting damaging video of their peers.  In this story an embarrassing video causes a young girl to take her life and in this supernatural horror she comes back to make them pay. The rare film you might actually wind up routing for the ghost.

    Child 44

This film is based on a best selling novel which follows a couple in old mother Russia as the seek to find the serial killer that has killed 44 children including their son.

    Monkey Kingdom

A documentary  by Disney Nature about the lives of monkeys looks as though it will be every animal lover’s favorite that week.

    Little Boy

This film is a war drama about a little boy who believes he has the power through faith to bring his father home from war.  This has potential and heck I cried at the trailer.

    The Water Diviner

Based on a true story in a time when biopics ruled the Oscars.  Russell Crow play an Austrailian father who has three sons who have died overseas in a war and goes to find their remains only to be given the hope that one of them survived.

More than a trailer this is a first look at the movies creation.

    Age of Adeline

This is a fantasy drama on the lines of ‘Highlander’ without the sword fights, of a woman who after a freak event never ages another day and her challenges with love and immortality.
