    The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Rated PG-13 For The story continues for our new Peter Parker, keeping him busy taking down bad guys and spending time with his family.  What intrigues me about this newer version of the web slinger is his new love interest played by Emma Stone.  I liked their chemistry in the first film of this new series.  Also a new villain Electro played by Academy award winner Jamie Foxx shows promise and the new take on Harry Osborn will be  wait and see for me he looks a little dark but I am going to have to see for myself if the writers can hold up their end of the deal.

    Million Dollar Arm

Disney generally does great things with "based on a true story" movies So I am banking on this film to be the next 'Saving Mr Banks' which I loved.  Million Dollar Arm  stars Mad Men's Jon Hamm as a scout who has been off his game and comes up with an idea to save his career. He hopes to find a cricket player that has what it takes to pitch in the major leagues . So in true American form he travels to India and creates, what else, a reality show.  Then hoping to sign them to major league contracts and make a quick buck, he brings the winners home to America to train. While the Americans are definitely out of their element in India — the boys, who have never left their rural villages — are equally challenged when they come to the States. As the boys learn the finer points of baseball he learns valuable life lessons about teamwork, commitment and what it means to be a family.

    X-Men Days of Future Past

Sometimes I must see because I've seen them all so far. This latest installment is partially set in an alternate future where surviving mutants have been contained in concentration camps, giant robots called Sentinels patrol America, and most of the X-Men have been hunted and killed. In the present day, the X-Men were forced to stop a key event from unfolding in order to keep that future from occurring. It also stars many of my favorite actors like Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Grant and Patrick Stewart. So once again it is up to the writers to make is have continuity and flow.  We'll see, I say go.

    Maleficent

Like the popular  Broadway show wicked Maleficent tells the untold story of Disney's most beloved villain, Maleficent, from the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty.

This the most memorable witch/villain from the Disney Princess stories is from “Sleeping Beauty.”  Played by Angelina Jolee Maleficent starts out as a  beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, with an idyllic life in a peaceable forest kingdom, then one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. She rises to be the land’s fiercest protector, but suffers a ruthless betrayal—an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Why wouldn't I? Love Angelina Jolie, beautifully cast in this movie and Elle Fanning, our sleeping beauty and I love Disney.  I'm giving it a shot in May.
