Fly-In Scheduled for Saturday in Old Town

The annual open house and fly-in at Old Town Municipal Airport will benefit the Maine Aviation Career Education Camp and the Old Town Aviation Explorers.

The fly-in and open house is Saturday from ten to three. It aims to introduce boys and girls 14 to 20 to careers in the aviation industry like pilots, mechanics, air traffic controllers and engineers.

You can also take a scenic flight, or bring your plane and get it washed and of course lots of planes will be touching down all day.

Admission is free, a barbecue five dollar barbecue lunch is offered.
