In it's 60th year, the NORAD Santa Tracker is up and running on the web. Did you know that the Santa Tracker has been around for 60 years?

On Christmas Eve in 1955, Sears placed an ad in a Colorado Springs newspaper, inviting kids to call him anytime on his personal phone, however there was a misprint and Santa's number was actually the number for what would later become the National American Aerospace Defense Command or NORAD.

The officer on duty that night told his staff to give all children who called the current location of Santa. The methods of tracking Santa have change of course of the 60 years, but it's now a holiday tradition thanks to a wrong number.

Where's Santa now? Take a look!
