It wasn't as vibrant as the last time the Northern Lights glowed over Maine, but it's still cool!

Did you see the Aurora Borealis last night? A little extra explosive activity from the sun has sent huge waves of energy at the Earth. This means the Northern Lights are glowing further south than usual.

According to the Mount Desert Islander, the video was shot on the south shore of Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park last night.

Last June another solar storm pulled the Northern Lights south. Cadillac Mountain was a popular destination for star gazers.
