Maine residents can enjoy some of what this fabulous state has to offer free of charge on June 19th!

On Maine Resident's Day, State parks like Camden Hills, Lake St. George, Lamoine, Roques Bluff and many others, will all open their gates to vehicles with Maine license plates on them and to folks with a Maine ID.  Hours are 9 a.m. until closing.

Enjoy boating, hiking and a picnic with the family on Father's Day!

Some parks will still charge that day: Acadia National Park, the Allagash Wildrness Waterway (AWW), Baxter State Park, the Maine Wildlife Park, Peacock Beach, Scarborough Beach, Swan Island, the Penobscot River Corridor or the Penobscot Narrows Observatory in Prospect, although admission to the Fort Knox State Historic Site will be free that day.

Make sure that check and see what all of Maine's state parks have to offer by going to the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry's website, or by downloading the Maine State Parks and Land's Pocket Ranger app, it's free and very cool!
