Free Plane Rides For Kids On Saturday

This sounds like such an awesome opportunity for any kid that has never flown the friendly skies. The event is being held down at the Knox County Regional Airport in Owls Head.  They call it Young Eagles Day.

Rides will be available for kids from 8-17 Saturday June 23 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. The rides are free but donations are welcome.  The airport is located at 372 Dublin Road in Owls Head.  Interested parties should contact the event coordinator Steve Turner, event coordinator at stbt8776@gmail.com or at 207-557-4255 for further information.

This event is put on by Experimental Aircraft Association Local Chapter 696. So fly high!
