Colorado knows how to party!

Colorado has seen incredible weather. Flooding essentially shut down the state and claimed the lives of ten people. In Boulder, organizers are handing out free joints to over-stressed residents.

While most of the city is focused on rebuilding, those who are needing a little relaxation can take one of over 600 joints being given away. Organizers say this helps recreational smokers who lost their stash in the floods. The free ganja also is a protest against a proposed 15% state weed tax increase. The tax increase will be on their ballot in November.

Two weeks ago the same folks handed out free joints in Denver with the same initiative. People eagerly took joints, even with police nearby.
