This sweet feline is Frost, a four year old tan and black long-haired tabby.  Frost is a very special girl!

She has been at the shelter for quite some time as we worked with vets to determine why Frost had constant diarrhea.  After exploring potential food allergies and other medical issues, it was determined that Frost suffers from Irritable Bowel/Colitis.  While the diagnosis itself was not good news, the fact that her condition is treatable is great.  And through all this, Frost continued to be loving, gentle, and very affectionate.  Now Frost just needs a small pill twice a day, and she can live a normal life just like any other kitty.  In addition to her digestive issues, Frost arrived with too many matts to comb out, so she had to be shaved.

Frost looks a bit uneven right now as she grows her fur back, but she is going to be her gorgeous self in no time at all.  Do you have room in your home and heart for this loving feline?  If you are comfortable administering a small pill, and you have the time to brush her regularly, you may just be the perfect fit for Frost.  Please stop by the SPCA to visit with Frost or any of the other wonderful cats and dogs available for adoption.
