Full Moon Glow Walk Tonight

Family fun event tonight hosted by the Challenger Center in Bangor. Grab the kids and to the parking lot on Front Street in Bangor for a Glow Walk along the Penobscot River. The event runs from 5:45 to 7 PM.

Organizers encourage you to don all your favorite glow in the dark accessories or you can make some there Minion style. Other activities include:

• CARNIVAL GAMES: Glow stomp rockets / glow ball throw / glow ring toss
• MAKE AND WEAR! Glow-in-the-dark "Minion style" glasses
• FLASHLIGHT FUN: learn about the phases of the moon / make flashlight art / glow messages
• SEE THE MOON UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL: Penobscot Valley Stargazers with their giant telescopes - watch the full moon rise above the Penobscot River.
• DO THE MOON WALK like an Astronaut walking on the moon!
• MOON SELFIES
• DARLINGS ICE CREAM TRUCK!

What you need to do to participate in all the fun is easy.

You can register here and then check in at the Public Parking Lot on Front Street in Bangor or just show up. Then stroll along the walkway and visit all of the activity stations where hopefully you’ll win prizes from local merchants such as Rebecca's, Bangor Floral, House of Brides, Good Soul, Bangor Cinemas, and more! Giveaways!

Be smart and if it's a little chilly, dress warm - event duration is only 75 minutes)
