Full Moon on Christmas

It will be a full moon on Christmas! Not the full moon your drunk relative does.

Pretty cool. A full moon is expected to reach its peak size on December 25. The last time this happened was in 1974. NASA says this ain't happening again until 2034.

The Old Farmer's Almanac calls this a Full Cold Moon.

Sorry, Rudolph. Looks like that bright red honker won't be needed by Santa this year. Still looks cool though.
