St. Joseph's Hospital will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, December 7th, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

According to a hospital press release, donating one unit of blood takes about an hour and has the potential of saving up to three lives!  Your time and effort would certainly be a gift to someone this holiday season.

The blood drive will be held at the St. Francis Center at 294 Center Street in Bangor, across from the Center Street entrance to St. Joseph's Hospital.  You can easily schedule an appointment HERE, or, by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.  Or, just show up, no one's going to turn you away.

After your donation, have a cup of coffee and a doughnut, because everyone who donates will receive a $5 Dunkin Donuts gift card.
